The Tzadik (righteous one) eats to satisfy her soul; the stomach of the wicked is always lacking.

Our creativity will be our sensory system. And through this sensory system we will be overflowing with energy, touching the hearts of people and filling their emptiness. We will act gratefully and our flow will fulfill the gratefulness in the hearts of others. It will be a new relationship. We will create a new humanity that will have the new sensory system, and thus we will establish the Age of Aquarius.
This is the fundamental character you have to learn by heart…There is only one problem: You do not trust your powers.

We celebrate the New Year of the Trees on the full moon of Shevat by eating beautiful fruits, offering blessings of praise, and practicing mindful consumption. Traditionally, Shevat is a time when the winter waters ascend into the veins of the trees nurturing the possibility of new life. It may seem bleak out there, but so much is happening just below the earth’s surface.
During this month, we turn toward the element of water and to the Tzadik as the Aquarian guide. It is said that the Tzadik overflows with wisdom, which is compared to water, and, as she walks, this wisdom spills about, creating the possibility of new life, a trail of beauty and awakening. The Tzadik does so without effort, she does so with faith that this wisdom-water will reach the intended veins below her neighbor’s feet.
Unlike the Pisces, who is symbolized by two fish biting each other’s tails, the Aquarian Tzadik quenches the thirst of all humanity. She walks about trusting her pail will never empty. The rain will fall and her vessel, ever exposed to the grace of the Divine, will provide what is meant for her, in service to her community.
